We loved R&R Pizza! I wish I got more pictures, but we just got right into the Saturday lunch buffet. We all thought the pizza was really good, and loved the look in the restaurant with the train decor, and cozy atmosphere. The spaghetti noodles weren't quite how I like them (a bit dry so I used extra sauce), but everything else made up for it. We'll definitely be back, and will for sure order to go also
Stopped in for first time and got the lunch buffet. Even though it was 1:15, and the buffet is from 11-2 ; the buffet and salad bar stayed fresh and nicely stocked. Very nice selection of unique/gourmet and standard pizzas. Every one of the pizzas were delicious! Wings were tasty, nice and meaty. Finished with a premium scooped ice cream. The gentleman working the counter and register was friendly, delightful and accommodating. Price is reasonable for the premium and some gourmet pizzas. Price is only slightly more than Peter piper pizza buffet, but the quality more than makes up for its added cost.
My wife and I are wintering in Benson to escape the Chicago winter. Being a Chicagoan, I think I've got a pretty good sense of what good and bad pizza is. After almost two months here, I had a craving for some pizza and decided to give R&R a shot. First, I loved the ambiance as soon as I walked in. Video jukebox playing Tears for Fears and a video arcade. I suddenly felt like I was back 1984 when this was what most pizza joints in Chicago were like. The server working the counter was incredibly pleasant. I placed my order and was floored when it came out hot and ready in only 15 minutes. But the real deal here was the pizza. This ranks easily in my top two or three favorite pizzas. The sauce was fantastic--slightly sweet, slightly salty--the toppings were fresh and plentiful and the crust was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I usually feed the crust to my pups, but not this time. I ate it all. The server then surprise us with a complimentary order of bread sticks so we could try them. Light, fluffy, like croissant dough, and just the right amount of salt and garlic. I'm a fan of those now too. If you're visiting Benson and want some great pizza, go to R&R. You won't be disappointed. If you are, tell them what's wrong and they'll fix it for you.
It was near closing time and I had ordered a medium pizza and they gladly took my order and I showed up right at closing time they had it ready for me they didn't even seemed irritated at the fact that I waited till the last minute. I was greeted with the minute I walked in they were very nice to me and the store was amazingly clean and everybody was working well together with smiles on their faces and they have amazing customer service skills.. I recommend this facility.
Ordered a lg supreme pizza to go just after 12 noon on a Wednesday. Just after sitting down the floodgates opened, people pouring in. My pizza came out fairly quickly and it was delicious! That might explain why the lunch buffet is so popular!
Was just there and an incredible lunch buffet, very willing to give you your money's worth here. They made fresh pizzas for our family and were very attentive. Highly recommend this stop anytime!
My family and I stopped by in a large group (almost 20 people) and we ordered pizza and wings, both of which were amazing. The staff was friendly and professional. The food came out quickly despite it being a large amount and it was delicious. They have some arcade games which the kids loved, my grandfather was fell in love with the architecture of the building. Overall an amazing experience, would definitely come again.
We were driving through this town and had our lunch break here. The buffet was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere, and the stomach was satisfied with the food:)
